A Service of Celebration for Sam's life will take place at Kissing Gate Events on Brownwich Lakes in Titchfield on Thursday 16th September 2021 at 3pm (Address and postcode below). This will be a service followed by some drinks, food and the sharing of our memories. We have booked the venue until 7pm.

Brownwich Lane is an un-tarmacked road accessed from the Warsash Road end of Common Lane, just outside the village of Titchfield. The lakes are just over half a mile down the Lane on the right hand side.Enter the Kissing Gate car park just before which will be sign posted. 

Parking will be provided in the field adjacent to the venue and will be clearly marked.

Dress Code

Weather permitting, we are hoping much of the service will be outside, so those attending may wish to dress accordingly.
Sportswear: You all know how much Sam loved his sports, one comment he made when talking about his funeral was that he would love anyone who has ever played a sport with him to wear their team top or sports jersey. 

If this is relevant to you then it is entirely your choice. You could either wear it, bring it or just bring a photo of a time when you played together. Otherwise we want you to be relaxed so just wear whatever you are comfortable in. We hope to make the most of the beautiful venue which could include sitting on picnic blankets so recommend no high heels.

We would like the afternoon to be full of fond memories while we are all together. There will be an area to add a photo should you like to bring a copy of one of your favourites with you. 

Children
Children are very welcome and the families’ children will be there. The service will likely be for the first half an hour and then we will hopefully make use of the grounds. There will be a few things for children to do if you would like to bring them or maybe have someone bring them up after the service which is likely to be 3.15-3.45pm.
