Organised by Victoria Hall and Georgina Hall in aid of Bowel Cancer, this is a 1.5km swim off the beach at West Wittering. I'm swimming for my brother Sam. We swam a lot as kids. In fact, we were total water babies. I will do this to raise a bit of money for a good cause, but also to prove to him that I'm not going to get eaten by a Great White shark the minute I'm more than 3 metres out to sea.
Update 22nd June - Semi-pro swimmer, James the "sea toad" Ebdon will be keeping me company on this swim now.

Despite some serious misgivings at the start when we noticed that most other people taking part had physiques resembling Michael Phelps, we both vowed - with a fist bump - that nothing would stop us from completing the swim. And we did it! No rescues required!
Thank-you to all of you for sponsoring and encouraging us. Your support means everything. Much love!
